Bone-dry forest all over Vancouver Island at the moment is causing severe forest fires - usually sparked by unthinking people chucking cigarettes out of their car windows. The smoke lingers in the air and creates this orange haze which is most intense around sunset. Taken at Westwood Lake, Nanaimo
