In the heart of it all

Adult male transient killer whale that popped up seemingly out of nowhere when we were travelling close to the beach looking for bears.

Amusingly he and his pod of 4 others showed up at about the same time we saw a black bear searching for crabs on the beach in the opposite direction. It was a major challenge deciding who to photograph!
